There is no better setting than the over the ocean deck on the outside of The Sugar Wharf to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a canapes style function. You can decide how many items you would like your canape function to comprise of.

Wait staff, chefs assistants and kitchen set up are additional costs and depend upon the number of guests and day of the week for your function.

Costing

$4 per item for a minimum of 8 items with a minimum of 50 guests

 

Prawn cocktail served in shot glasses with avocado salsa

Ceviche of local reef fish with chili, coconut and lime

Duck pate served with croutes and cornichons

Grilled prosciutto wrapped scallops with saffron aioli

Selection of sushi served with wasabi, pickled ginger and soy sauce

Oysters with smoked salmon, crème fraiche, vodka and chives

Baby bocconcini and cherry tomato skewers finished with pesto

Lamb Cutlets served with tzatziki dressing and gremolata

Salmon sashimi served with daikon and Japanese dressing

Arancini balls filled with roasted peppers, feta cheese, garlic mushrooms served in bamboo boats with saffron aioli   

Twice cooked pork belly with coriander and char sui sesame dressing

Crab cakes with corn, coriander and chili

Tandoori chicken skewers with yogurt dressing

Seared veal served with truffle mayonnaise on potato roti

Smoked salmon roulade with cream cheese and dill served on blinis

Salt and pepper  calamari with lime aioli served in bamboo cones

Selection of petits fours (profiteroles, mini tarts and slices)

Prawns wrapped in potato string served with nam jim dressing
